Techno Functional Business Analyst - Assistant Vice President

As an IT Business Senior Analyst at Citigroup, your role involves acting as an intermediary between business users and technologists to facilitate the exchange of information in a clear and concise manner. Your primary objective will be to contribute to the exploration of business performance and drive business planning through continuous iterative investigation. Key Responsibilities: - Formulate and define systems scope and objectives for complex projects and facilitate communication between business leaders and IT - Consult with users and clients to address complex system issues by evaluating business processes, systems, and industry standards - Support system change processes from requirements to implementation and offer input based on information analysis - Determine system functional specifications in consultation with business clients and provide user and operational support - Identify risks and impacts, considering the business implications of technology application in the current business environment - Act as an advisor or coach to new or junior analysts, collaborating as a team to achieve business objectives - Operate with a limited level of direct supervision and demonstrate independence of judgment and autonomy - Serve as a subject matter expert to senior stakeholders and team members Qualifications: - Minimum 8+ years of experience as a Techno Functional Business Analyst for large scale IT projects - Proficiency in Requirement Elicitation, Product / Domain Knowledge, and Techno-functional Knowledge - Experience with Investment domain, Private Banking Business, Regulatory Reporting Projects, Securities Reference Data - Techno-functional Knowledge in Basic AI/ML, Java 21, Microservices, Python, and Data Analysis using Oracle SQL Developer - Good knowledge of Waterfall, Agile Scrum Methodology and Stakeholder Engagement - Proven interpersonal, data analysis, negotiation, and prioritization skills - Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills - Ability to manage multiple activities, build working relationships, and take initiative to master new tasks quickly - Capability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and approach work with attention to detail Education: - Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience Please note that this job description offers a summary of the work performed in the role.
