ROLE: Technical Writer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Technical Writer with expertise in creating online how-to guides, incorporating video and screen captures into organized step-by-step guides. The ideal candidate will use our existing library of 20-50 videos as the basis for the initial work and will create content using a SharePoint Communication Site. The groups product management team will create new or updated videos as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop comprehensive how-to guides and technical learning documents for software tools, particularly those used in data analysis.
Edit and incorporate video content using Microsoft Stream and Clipchamp, utilizing AI tools such as speech-to-text.
Ensuring content is clear, concise, and well-organized.
Collaborate with teams in Santa Clara, CA, and India, working occasional evenings to facilitate meetings with the U.S. team.
Manage individual projects, including task identification, timeline creation, and regular progress updates.
Work with management teams to establish project goals and KPIs.

Qualifications:

Familiarity with technical learning documents and training materials for software tools.
Proficiency in video editing and the use of Microsoft Stream and Clipchamp.
Knowledge of the semiconductor industry and its vocabulary is a plus.
Strong command of U.S. English and grammar.
Ability to work independently and manage projects effectively.
Educational background equivalent to a U.S. 4-year degree.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with AI tools within video editing software.
Familiarity with SharePoint communication sites.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
