Job Title: Technical Writer (Engineering Background)

About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Writer with a solid engineering background who can create clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation for our products and processes. This role will suit someone who enjoys working closely with engineers, translating complex technical details into content that can be understood by different audiences.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare and maintain technical documents such as user manuals, product specifications, installation guides, training material, and SOPs.

· Develop content for the company’s website, blogs, knowledge base, and other communication channels as required.

· Work with engineering, R&D, and quality teams to gather and verify information.

· Simplify technical concepts into well-structured content for both technical and non-technical readers.

· Create supporting diagrams, illustrations, and flowcharts where needed.

· Review and update existing documentation to keep it current and accurate.

· Ensure consistency with company standards and compliance requirements.

· Assist in preparing technical reports, presentations, and knowledge-sharing material.

Qualifications

· Candidate should have at least 2 years of relevant experience in technical writing, preferably in an engineering, manufacturing, or technology setup.

· Alternatively, candidates who are currently pursuing or have recently completed a PhD or Master’s degree (MSc/M.Tech) in engineering-related fields (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, or related disciplines) are also encouraged to apply.

· Strong writing and communication skills in English.

· Comfortable reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, or technical data.

Preferred Skills

· Knowledge of ISO documentation standards and QMS procedures.

· Exposure to content management systems.

· Ability to contribute to other forms of content writing (such as blogs, knowledge base articles, training material, and internal communication content) in addition to technical documentation.

· Good attention to detail and an organized way of working.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
