Technical Writer

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Technical Writer to create, edit, and manage high-quality technical documentation and manuals. The role involves developing clear and concise technical content, ensuring adherence to documentation standards, and collaborating closely with engineering teams to ensure accuracy and completeness. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the defence or space industry and a strong understanding of engineering documentation practices.

• Develop, edit, and maintain technical communication materials, including Technical Manuals, Operator Manuals, User Handbooks, Maintenance Manuals, and Installation Manuals.
  
  
  


• Ensure all documentation complies with JSS0251 standards and meets organizational quality requirements.
  
  
  


• Generate and organize technical data for manuals in close collaboration with engineering teams.
  
  
  


• Interpret and accurately incorporate technical drawings and schematics into documentation.
  
  
  


• Maintain consistency, accuracy, and clarity across all technical documents.
  
  
  


• Manage and update comprehensive technical documentation repositories.
  
  
  


• Work independently as well as collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to meet deadlines.
  
  
  


• Education: B.E. or Diploma in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering (Candidates with an AME background are not eligible).
  
  
  


• Experience: 3 5 years of relevant technical writing experience, preferably in the defence or space industry.
  
  
  

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of JSS0251 documentation standards.


• Proficiency in generating technical data for manuals.


• Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and schematics.


• High attention to detail and accuracy.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• B.E. in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering, or


• Diploma in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering.

(Note: Candidates with an AME Aircraft Maintenance Engineering background are not eligible.)
