Technical Writer Intern

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, edit, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including user manuals, technical guides, and API documentation.
• Ensure all documentation is clear, concise, and adheres to company standards.
• In-depth understanding of software development processes, programming languages, and IT infrastructure.
• Proficiency in using documentation tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Markdown, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Lead and mentor a team of technical writers and interns.
• Address queries from team members and interns, providing guidance and support.
• Facilitate training sessions and workshops to enhance the skills of the documentation team.
• Work closely with software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Participate in product development meetings to stay informed about new features and updates.
• Review and edit documentation produced by team members to ensure consistency and quality.
• Implement best practices and standards for technical writing within the team.
• Keep abreast of the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies.
• Incorporate new insights and best practices into the documentation process.

Qualifications

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field (Only those who have passed out can apply).
• Writing Skills:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms.
• Research and Analysis:
• Ability to research and understand complex technical topics.
• Skill in analyzing and synthesizing information to create clear and concise documentation.

Job Types: Full-time, Internship
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
