Technical Writer

Job Responsibilities

⦁ Primary responsibilities include documenting, publishing, and managing release notes, technical bulletins, topics, and flashes for quarterly or emergency product releases.

⦁ Improve the process of technical and editorial reviews to ensure accurate product documentation.

⦁ Revise and upgrade legacy product guides as per the latest available information and documentation standards.

⦁ Document new guides based on the latest UI-based product version releases.

⦁ Create videos for internal documentation workflows to help SMEs, editors, and colleagues.

⦁ Develop workflow-based diagrams and created videos, which help customers to understand a complex workflow.

⦁ Bring in innovation and improvement in the documentation procedures and policies to help build a better user experience.

⦁ Producing high-quality documentation that is appropriate for its intended audience.

⦁ Writing easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and developer guides

⦁ Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements.

⦁ Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience.

⦁ Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications.

⦁ Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities.

⦁ Create and maintain the information architecture.

Requirements

⦁ Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation

⦁ Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail

⦁ Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures

⦁ Excellent written skills in English

⦁ Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office / Document writing

⦁ Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development

⦁ Any graduate is eligible to apply

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
