Job Description

As a Technical Support Specialist at our company, you will be responsible for providing technical support activities in a software production processing environment. Your key responsibilities will include: - Installing, maintaining, and supporting application/source code and its components, including third-party software - Detecting, diagnosing, and reporting related problems - Analyzing and resolving incidents, problems, or known errors in application and supporting software components - Providing technical assistance to programming staff in analyzing application software amends, performance, and resource consumption - Creating and maintaining complete documentation for application software support - Providing twenty-four-hour support for applications and supporting software - Offering consultation to internal users regarding software capabilities and use - Following escalation procedures to resolve incidents, problems, or known errors in a timely manner - Using appropriate diagnostic tools to isolate and resolve incidents, problems, or known errors - Assisting development teams in requirements definition, system design, and project delivery - Verifying technical specifications for development projects - Acting as a project liaison/Services Delivery advocate - Assisting client support with communications related to incidents, problems, or known errors - Planning and supporting application-specific disaster recovery activities - Conducting production support validations/certifications and accepting turnover from development - Providing standardized operational reporting metrics to business and IT management - Monitoring and maintaining product availability, capacity, and performance based on defined service levels - Supporting application security functionality and related administrative and audit services - Participating in change management reviews and confirming changes implemented Additionally, you will be expected to: - Communicate ideas clearly and professionally to various audiences - Demonstrate interpersonal and team-building skills - Analyze and solve problems using learned techniques and tools - Utilize Microsoft Office package and related software applications - Establish and maintain effective working relationships - Apply strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills - Utilize judgment in decision-making processes - Handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively - Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management, employees, clients, and the public You will be based in our vibrant office location in Indore hub, and you will collaborate with different teams and offices across the globe in the APAC region. This job requires a working knowledge of applications and utilities used by supported products and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.,
