Technical Support Engineer L1

Technical Support: Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and network issues, diagnosing and resolving technical problems for end-users.

• Installation & Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems, computer peripherals (like printers), and software applications.
• Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues, software bugs, and hardware malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• System Maintenance: Conduct regular system maintenance, install software and hardware updates, and manage user accounts and permissions.
• Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and records of IT inventory, issues, and solutions.
• User Support: Communicate with users to understand problems, provide basic training on computer operation and software usage, and manage expectations during the resolution process.
• Collaboration: Work with other IT teams to resolve complex technical issues and contribute to larger IT projects, such as hardware rollouts or system upgrades.
• Escalation: Escalate unresolved issues to specialized teams or higher-level officials when necessary.
• Security: Ensure the security and privacy of IT equipment and data by managing access rights and maintaining system security.
