Technical Support Engineer

You should be a Graduate with 3+ years of Product Technical support experience, preferably with a background in B.SC. IT, BE, BCA, MR, MSC IT, etc. It is essential to have a Server administration certification in RHEL and a strong knowledge of MySQL/Oracle & Linux. Understanding of Java/PHP/C would be an added advantage, along with familiarity with the Fintech Domain. Your technical expertise should include experience with monitoring and troubleshooting tools, hands-on experience in Linux and Databases, as well as scripting. You must possess excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and analyze system performance. Participation in root cause analysis may be required, along with the maintenance and update of network diagrams and service provider information. Ideally, you should have experience in network management, monitoring, and troubleshooting tools, as well as good documentation and technical skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary to effectively communicate technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences. Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies is also preferred, with additional experience in the Fintech domain being an added advantage. In terms of general expertise, you should exhibit a high level of individual initiative and be able to effectively lead a team. Constantly seeking opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and client relationships is crucial, along with building a knowledge base of each client's business, organization, and objectives. Managing day-to-day client interactions, creating support/solution documentation, and collaborating with clients and stakeholders to ensure changes are understood and approved are key responsibilities. You should have good communication skills, self-confidence, and fluency in English. The ability to take direction from all levels, provide guidance for the team on technical architecture, and offer technical leadership through design and code reviews is essential. Ensuring that solutions meet internal and client expectations with respect to quality, delivery timelines, and strategy is paramount.
