Role & responsibilities
- Prepare and submit documentation to government agencies for product approvals, licenses, permits, and certifications.
- Coordinate with regulatory affairs teams to ensure timely and accurate submissions, addressing any queries or requests for additional information.
- Organize and manage records, including certifications, test reports, and technical documentation required for government approvals.
Market Development:
- Responsible for increasing the sales at non-Trade sites.
- Distribute info-lets & other useful technical literature amongst influencers/applicators/channel partners/customers and other decision makers as a part of branding and sales promotion.
- Review and Monitor competitors products and their activities into market and provide insights to sales team or superiors.
- Visit key account leads, brief the products, and convert leads into sales, from competitors brands to Ultratech.
- Provide technical support to UBS counters for all BPD products.
- Support and promote 360 degrees solution approach to IHBs and compliment other cement products for non-UTCL channel (Paints, Hardware, Tiles).
- Non-Trade Sales and Non UTCL Counters
- Identifying new non-Trade projects, analysis the potential and ensure product approval.
- Business generation from the project and manage the client for future sales.
- Managing Project Distributor and effective planning of sales.
- Identifying and converting Non UTCL Counters.
- Influencer & Applicator Management
- Identify and approach applicators of various categories for onboarding in Utec.
- Approach influencers and provide them with product demos illustrating the BPD product offerings and the range of applications of the BPD products.
- Connecting regularly with the influencers, keeping them updated regarding the latest development and technology innovations at BPD division and launch of new products and schemes.
- Get approvals and testimonials for the BPD products from the consultants / architects of the projects.
- Identify key influencers like engineers, architects, contractors, builders etc. for the assigned territory, maintain their database.
- Address issues & concerns raised by influencers and provide them with feedback on actions taken.
- Ensure engagement activity for influencers.
- Conduct product demos, submit product samples to prospect customers/projects, test & certify samples from the concerned customers/applicators and maintain records.
- Gather data/information about applicators/ contractors/ builders from respective area/regions and prepare plan for connecting with them to build network of applicators/masons.
Water Proofing Solutions:
- Identify waterproofing applicators on depot basis, provide training to applicators, onboard them on Utec, and offer solutions to IHB through applicators.
- Evaluate the work of applicators and motivate them to provide timely updates and ensure quality work.
- Technical Activities as per Plan/Budget
- Conduct technical activities according to the plan to enhance revenue and raise awareness of BPD products.
- Technical product portfolio
- Responsible for both the categories of segment Dry mix and Waterproofing. In dry mix we have 5 categories Tile Adhesives, Plaster & Mortars, Industrial grout, repairs and rehabilitations and flooring.
- Responsible for technical query addressal and technical activities for all category of products.
Complaint Handling:
- Attending customer complaints related to product quality, application, and usage, ensure its speedy resolution, and update it on the One Technical Portal.
- Inform respective sales team about actions taken based on the analysis of customer technical complaints.
MIS and Reporting:
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports on applicators meet,on-site training, sampling, conversions, display material stock, quality complaints etc.
- Tracking competitor products, activities, and engagement schemes.
- Daily capturing of visits and calls on One Technical Portal for self and team.
- Timely applying technical activity bills on the TAB portal
- Customer Feedback & Satisfaction Level
- Actively engage with customers to gather feedback through various channels, such as surveys, direct communication, and online platforms.
- Listen attentively to customer concerns, suggestions, and praises, ensuring that every interaction is respectful and empathetic.
- Analyze customer feedback to identify recurring themes, trends, and insights.
Preferred candidate profile
1. Technical expertise: Strong knowledge of building products, dry mix, and waterproofing solutions.
2. Sales and marketing experience: Proven ability to drive sales, promote products, and engage with customers.
