Job Description

Role Overview: You will be joining the YouTube Partner Engineering (YPE) Platform Services team, which is responsible for driving the expansion and efficiency of YouTube Partner Engineering initiatives. The core mission of the team is to establish an enterprise service model, facilitating seamless platform integrations and technical partnerships at scale. The team supports critical programs such as Shopping, Commerce, Playables, External YouTube API Offerings, and more. You will work together with a shared goal to show people the world, exploring new ideas, solving real problems, and having fun, all while working at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and boundless creativity. Key Responsibilities: - Support updating of existing solution content or create repeatable content such as best practices recommendations, tutorials, blog articles, and sample code, ensuring documentation of repeatable solutions. - Help generate partner insights and participate in business reviews with partners to formulate partner strategies, with minimal guidance. - Manage project planning, status reporting, timeline estimation, issue tracking, meeting facilitation, and project documentation. - Execute solutions based on user/partner/client business objectives and technical requirements that have been previously defined, developed, and approved, with occasional support from peers/community. - Help identify trends of solution issues across users/partners/clients and collaborate with internal teams to mitigate risks in the future with some guidance. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. - 2 years of experience in technical project management or a customer-facing role. - Master's degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or Applied Science, or a related field preferred. - 3 years of experience managing projects and working with analytics, software coding, or customer-side web technologies preferred. - Experience using CRM tooling such as Salesforce to manage partner support workflows preferred. - Experience taking an investigative approach to uncovering needs, anticipating issues, and developing solutions/projects that involve cross-functional stakeholders from different areas preferred. - Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, investigative, and communication skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams preferred.
