Description
As an experienced Technical SEO Specialist, your role will involve conducting detailed technical SEO audits to identify and resolve site issues such as crawlability, indexing, canonicalization, and duplicate content. You will be responsible for optimizing website performance by focusing on Core Web Vitals, page speed, caching, lazy loading, minification, CDN, and other best practices. Managing and configuring SEO tools like Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Sitebulb, and analyzing reported issues will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will also be expected to implement technical fixes including editing .htaccess, managing redirects, optimizing images, configuring plugins, and troubleshooting security/plugin conflicts. Working extensively on WordPress, handling plugins such as Wordfence, RankMath/Yoast, caching plugins, and ensuring compatibility and security will be crucial. Monitoring and maintaining XML sitemaps, robots.txt, schema markup, and structured data (Schema.org) will also fall under your purview. Collaborating with developers to ensure SEO compatibility with advanced tech stacks like React.js and Node.js, providing technical recommendations to improve crawl efficiency, indexation, and site architecture, and tracking and reporting on technical SEO performance will be part of your day-to-day tasks. It will be essential to stay updated with the latest algorithm updates, technical trends, and best practices in SEO to suggest innovative strategies to enhance rankings and site visibility. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Marketing, IT, or a related field. - Proven experience in a hands-on technical SEO role, with expertise in implementing technical solutions. - Strong knowledge of WordPress, plugins (Wordfence, RankMath/Yoast, caching), and basic server configuration (Apache/Nginx). - Solid understanding of Core Web Vitals, website speed optimization, and common performance tools (Google PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse). - Familiarity with website security, plugin conflict resolution, and compatibility checks. - Knowledge of advanced web technologies such as React.js and Node.js is a plus. - Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for technical troubleshooting and optimization. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Skills: - Experience working with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and marketers. - Knowledge of structured data, schema markup, and rich snippets. - Familiarity with server-side technologies like PHP and MySQL. - Ability to proactively identify and resolve SEO-related technical challenges.,
