As a Technical SEO Specialist at Zupee, you will play a crucial role in optimizing the website's performance to ensure it is search-engine friendly and ranks effectively. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Optimizing website crawlability, indexability, and mobile-friendliness for improved search engine rankings. - Identifying and fixing website indexing issues using tools such as Google Search Console, robots.txt, canonical tags, XML sitemaps, and no index tags. - Improving Core Web Vitals by optimizing images, reducing JavaScript execution time, enabling lazy loading, and leveraging CDNs. - Implementing structured data (schema markup) for rich search results like FAQs, articles, breadcrumbs, and product reviews. - Conducting technical SEO audits using tools like Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and GTmetrix. - Monitoring website speed and performance using PageSpeed Insights and Lighthouse. - Collaborating with developers to implement SEO best practices and resolve technical issues. - Staying up-to-date with search engine algorithms and SEO trends to maintain best practices. Qualifications required for this role: - Proven experience in technical SEO and site optimization. - Hands-on experience with Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, PageSpeed Insights, and GTmetrix. - Strong understanding of robots.txt, canonical tags, XML sitemaps, and Core Web Vitals. - Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS for on-page SEO improvements. - Experience working with content management systems (WordPress, Shopify, etc.). - Ability to analyze data and create SEO reports.
