Technical Sales Manager

The role of the selected candidate will involve acting as the primary interface to the customer for technical support on products and services, with the aim of converting design wins successfully. Providing first-level tech support at the system level to R&D teams is a key responsibility. The candidate will actively seek new customers within the associated focus markets and engage in visiting customers to develop relationships, follow up on leads, set grower trials, close sales opportunities, and provide technical information. Meeting established sales budget and targets, delivering sales presentations, and managing major accounts are essential tasks. Furthermore, the candidate will be expected to provide feedback to internal teams and sales peers on competition, pricing, and marketing opportunities. Resolving technical queries promptly, developing deep customer relationships, coordinating with multi-geographical teams for technical support, and traveling across clients within India are integral aspects of the role. Building credibility at all levels at clients" R&D, communicating with industry leaders, and taking a leadership role in establishing field-based grower-specific product trials are also part of the responsibilities. The ideal candidate should possess skills in technical sales, Internet of Things (IOT), material handling, electrical engineering, semiconductors, smart metering, street lighting, and energy. A proactive approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to drive exemplary customer service are crucial for success in this role.,
