Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Technical Sales Executive to accelerate growth across our Super Disintegrants, Lubricants, and Diluents excipient portfolio in India. This role is pivotal in driving new wins, converting import substitutes, and expanding our footprint in the Pharma and Nutraceutical sectors through persuasive technical sales and strategic market development.
What You ll Do
  • Manage and grow existing accounts; forecast, follow up, and secure orders while achieving monthly sales and collection targets
  • Ensure timely payments and support finance teams in recovery efforts when needed.
  • Pursue new business opportunities with both new and existing customers.
  • Resolve customer complaints with technical solutions and prevent recurrence.
  • Continuously map market trends, product positioning, and competitive landscape using internal intelligence and import data.
  • Provide regulatory support for product qualification and ensure compliance with local registration requirements.
  • Identify new product opportunities and collaborate internally on development.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and customer service teams to ensure timely dispatches and resolve payment or delivery issues.
  • Determine pricing strategies and update payment terms based on market dynamics.
  • Represent Ingredion at industry exhibitions to gather market insights and strengthen brand positioning.
You are well suited for the role if you have:
Mandatory Requirements:
  • Degree in Pharmacy or relevant
  • 4-5 years of experience in Excipient/API sales with strong relationships across top Indian Pharma companies
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work across all levels
  • Proven ability to lead projects, drive results, and think commercially
Desirable Experience:
  • Hands-on experience with excipient applications, especially starches or polyols
  • Skilled in product positioning and developing alternate vendor strategies
  • Proficient in reporting and using sales tools like SFDC
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong decision-making and ownership
  • Experience in distributor development and conducting business reviews
