Technical Sales Engineer

You will play a crucial role as a Technical Sales Engineer within our team. Your primary responsibility will involve combining your technical expertise with sales skills to offer support and solutions to customers both before and after the sale. Your tasks will include identifying customer needs, conducting product demonstrations, and ensuring a seamless technical integration of our solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and nurture strong relationships with both new and existing customers. - Provide pre-sales technical assistance and educate customers about our products. - Analyze and interpret customer requirements to deliver appropriate technical solutions. - Collaborate closely with the engineering and product teams to provide customer feedback and contribute to product enhancements. - Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations and demonstrations to potential clients. - Assist the sales team in creating proposals, bids, and contracts. - Conduct product trials, installations, and offer post-sales support as necessary. - Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and marketing events. - Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and competitors. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, or related field). - Proven experience in technical sales, engineering, or a customer-facing technical role. - Strong technical knowledge of products/services within the relevant industry. - Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic environment. - Readiness to travel when needed. Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or HubSpot. - Previous experience in industry-specific technology or systems. - Professional certifications like PMP, Six Sigma, or industry-specific certifications.
