Job Title: Technical Sales Engineer – German Hydraulic Seals & Gear Motors Location: Kolkata Job Type: [Full-Time] Industry: Industrial Equipment / Hydraulic Components / Engineering Solutions Job Summary:We are seeking a motivated and technically proficient Technical Sales Engineer to promote and sell German-manufactured Hydraulic Seals and Gear Motors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hydraulic systems and mechanical components, combined with excellent communication and sales skills to support customers across [region/territory]. This role requires both technical knowledge and customer-focused sales expertise, particularly in industrial, mobile, or manufacturing applications. Key Responsibilities:Identify and develop new business opportunities for German hydraulic seals, gear motors, and related components. Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, distributors, and end-users in sectors such as manufacturing, agriculture, construction, and heavy machinery. Understand client requirements and provide technical consultation and product selection support. Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers. Coordinate with German suppliers/manufacturers for specifications, pricing, and delivery timelines. Provide post-sales technical support, including troubleshooting and application guidance. Achieve sales targets and contribute to revenue growth in the assigned region. Maintain records of customer interactions, sales activities, and market feedback. Attend industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows as a company representative. Requirements:Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field. Minimum 3 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in hydraulic components, seals, motors, or industrial equipment. Good understanding of hydraulic systems, gear motors, sealing solutions, and their industrial applications. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, catalogs, and specifications. Willingness to travel within assigned territory. Experience working with German brands (e.g., Freudenberg, Bosch Rexroth, Hydac, etc.) is a strong plus. Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and reporting systems. Preferred Qualifications:Prior experience dealing with German-made hydraulic components or working with European manufacturers. Familiarity with ERP/CRM tools and technical documentation.
