Technical Sales Engineer

Role Overview The Application Engineer will support customers with tooling solutions, machining optimisation, and process improvements. This role involves technical support, trials, and tool selection to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities • Provide technical support for metal cutting tools and applications. • Conduct machining trials, tool testing, and performance evaluations. • Recommend tooling solutions for turning, milling, drilling, and other operations. • Visit customer locations for troubleshooting and cycle time improvements. • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and cost-benefit analyses. • Train customers on tool usage and best machining practices. • Coordinate with sales and product teams for project execution. Required Skills & Qualifications • ITI / Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering or Tool Engineering. • Knowledge of CNC machining processes and cutting tool parameters. • Experience with feeds, speeds, cutting inserts, and programming. • Strong problem-solving and communication skills. • Experience in tooling industry preferred.
