Technical Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager with a strong background in software engineering and project management. In this role, you will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical projects. A deep understanding of technology, project management methodologies, and effective communication skills is essential for coordinating cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication of project goals, responsibilities, and deadlines.
• Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and support to the project team, ensuring the feasibility and alignment of technical solutions with project objectives.
• Stakeholder Management: Proactively communicate project progress to both customers and internal stakeholders and facilitate project-related meetings to meet deliverables; Escalate quickly as necessary if timelines or scope are at risk. Build rapport with the project team and customer stakeholders. Serve as the single point of contact and be accountable for all project-related activities and requests.
• Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and alignment with financial constraints.
• Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all deliverables meet the required quality standards and are aligned with the overall project goals.
• Documentation: Maintain (or create as needed) all project-related documentation, including project plans, process flows, open item logs, risk/issue logs, project status reports, scope documentation, SOWs or change requests, handover documents, etc.
• Agile Methodology: Implement and manage agile project management practices, such as Scrum or Kanban, to facilitate iterative development and continuous improvement.
  

Requirements

• Graduate with proven experience in IT Project Management.
• 4+ years of overall experience with 3+ technical project management, managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects in a startup or fast-paced environment.
• Strong technical background, with experience in software development, IT infrastructure, or related fields.
• Ability to organise, design, develop, and deliver projects for diverse audiences in a dynamic, fast-paced, and continuous improvement environment with competing deadlines.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e. g., Jira, MS Project).
• Excellent understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks effectively.
• PMP, PRINCE2 or ScrumMaster certification is a plus.
