The role involves providing production support for enterprise applications with a focus on SSIS, SQL, and automation. You will work closely with technical and business teams to ensure smooth operations, timely issue resolution, and continuous improvement of support processes. The position requires hands-on experience with ITIL practices, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to operate in rotational shifts except for night shifts.
Provide L1, L2 and L3 production support across assigned applications.
Manage incidents and changes in line with ITIL processes.
Perform daily monitoring and address application or job failures.
Analyse root causes and drive permanent fixes.
Work with Control-M jobs and SQL-based workflows.
Maintain and troubleshoot SSIS packages in production environments.
Coordinate with development and business teams for issue resolution and improvements.
Create Python scripts to automate repetitive or manual support activities.
Build automated workflows that reduce operational effort and increase efficiency.
Use Excel Macros or VBA when required for automation or reporting tasks.
Share updates and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
Must have
5+ years of hands-on experience in a similar role.
Hands-on experience in production support with a good understanding of ITIL processes.
Ability to manage incidents, monitoring activities, changes, escalations, and root cause analysis.
Good knowledge of Control-M and SQL database concepts.
Strong experience with SSIS packages, including maintenance and troubleshooting.
Python scripting experience for automation of support tasks.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and collaboration abilities.
Willingness to work in rotational shifts except night shifts.
Nice to have
Experience in Excel Macros or VBA for automation and reporting.
Exposure to continuous improvement practices within production support.
