Job Description - Manager Technical (Socks) Please apply if you are from Sock industry Strategy & Planning Ensure all Knitting Machines are in serviceable for 1st Quality Production. Quality: Ensure Knitting Rejection below 2%. Coordinate with QC Team for Quality related matters, Coordinate with Procurement team for Yarn Quality related issues. Ensure the Knitting Machine Preventive Maintenance is correctly carried out. Carry out the Pilot Lot for new Mill Styles. Additional Responsibility Training of New Technicians. Improving the efficiency and reducing the wastage continually To carry out the Expansions of Knitting Machines as per the Expansion Plan. Cost Saving-Strive for wastage 0% reduction. Operational Discussion on details of total bins audits & rejection happen during Previous day SHIFT-Top defects. Discussion on new article setting & quality std. Communication with production team for solving heavy rejection & repeated machine issues Knitting floor for received yarn lot feedback-To check & ensure the yarn parameters as per std. requirements. Reduce rejection / wastage. Practising stringent quality and safety standards on the shop floor. Should be well versed with all types of Break downs of Knitting Machines. Must have handled latest Makes & Models of Chinese Socks Knitting machines People Management Develop and monitor key performance indicators of the direct reportees and counsel to facilitate their continued development. Identify training and development needs of the team members and plan their training and development and follow up implementation.
