Role & responsibilities

1. Technical Leadership & Architecture

  • Lead end-to-end Salesforce solution design across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing integrations, etc.
  • Define technical architecture, data models, integration patterns, and scalability standards.
  • Conduct technical reviews of Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, Integrations, and DevOps pipelines.

2. Project & Delivery Management

  • Plan, manage, and deliver Salesforce projects within timeline, budget, and quality standards.
  • Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications and solution designs.
  • Manage sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release cycles in Agile environments.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teamsBA, QA, Developers, Admins, UI/UX, and Integration teams.

3. Team Management & Mentoring

  • Manage and mentor a team of Salesforce developers, admins, and integration engineers.
  • Allocate tasks based on expertise and project priorities.
  • Conduct technical training, code reviews, and performance evaluations.

4. Stakeholder & Client Management

  • Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and leadership teams to understand goals.
  • Convert business challenges into scalable technical solutions.

5. Integration & Data Management

  • Oversee integrations using APIs, MuleSoft, Informatica, middleware, or custom services.
  • Manage complex Salesforce environments, sandboxes, and CI/CD pipelines (Gearset, Copado, Git).

6. Quality, Compliance & Security

  • Align implementations with Salesforce security best practices, role-based access, and compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).

7. Innovation & Roadmap Planning

  • Evaluate new Salesforce releases, features, and AppExchange solutions for business value.

8. Operational Support

  • Troubleshoot production issues, root cause analysis, and preventive measures.
  • Optimize existing Salesforce processes, workflows, triggers, LWC components, and integrations.
