As a Technical Support Manager for textile products inspections, you will play a crucial role in assessing and developing the technical capabilities of our front-end team. Reporting to the Asia Technical Manager and collaborating closely with the inspections team in your region, your responsibilities will include monitoring the team's performance, identifying areas for improvement, and providing targeted training to enhance skills. Key Responsibilities: - Evaluate the technical capabilities of the inspection team and address any gaps in knowledge. - Identify top performers and individuals in need of additional technical training. - Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for inspectors. - Conduct one-on-one and group training sessions, both in person and remotely. - Monitor technical performance through feedback, KPIs, on-site shadows, and report reviews. - Participate in the recruitment process by evaluating candidates" technical knowledge. - Create and maintain training materials and assessments. - Provide technical training on inspection SOPs, IT tools, and client-specific requirements. - Issue QIMA inspector certificates to qualified individuals. - Serve as the main point of contact with clients, ensuring their technical needs are met. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Textile Technology or Engineering. - Minimum of 10 years of practical experience in the textile industry. - Strong expertise in garment production processes and technologies. - Knowledge of textile machinery, quality systems, and manufacturing processes. - Experience in auditing manufacturing processes and implementing quality improvement plans. - Proficiency in English and the local language.
