As a part of the DSE Platform Independent Common (PI-Common) group at Cisco, your role involves developing high-performance system software for various Cisco Platforms like Enterprise Switching & Routers, Data Center Switches, and Service Provider Routing Platforms. **Key Responsibilities:** - Utilize your 11+ years of experience in internet working technologies and applications to develop software in C under a multi-threaded environment - Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills while working with Data Structures, Operating Systems, and Data Networking fundamentals - Contribute to the development of software for large/complex network devices including routing & switching systems - Prioritize experience in developing features in the Multicast area - Showcase expertise in developing software for complex multi-threaded real-time systems - Possess hands-on implementation experience with technologies like RTOS Internals, High Availability, IPC, Memory management, Distributed communications Infrastructure, Serviceability, Linux, Containers, and Virtualization - Communicate effectively across all groups within the organization leveraging your excellent written and verbal communication skills - Collaborate effectively in teams spanning geographies and physical boundaries - Be a quick learner, self-driven, and have a passion for excellence **Qualifications Required:** - Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related majors with 11+ years of experience If you are looking to join Cisco, you will be part of a diverse and inclusive work environment where every individual's unique skills and perspectives come together to power an inclusive future for all.
