The DSE Platform Independent Common (PI-Common) group at Cisco is responsible for developing high-performance system software that operates across Cisco's flagship routers and switches, including Enterprise Switching & Routers, Data Center Switches, and Service Provider Routing Platforms. As a part of this team, your impact will be significant as you contribute your expertise in internet working technologies and applications, with a focus on software development in C within a multi-threaded environment. Your problem-solving skills will be key as you work on data structures, operating systems, and data networking fundamentals for large and complex network devices, particularly in the routing & switching systems domain. Experience in developing features in the Multicast area is desirable, as well as expertise in complex multi-threaded real-time systems.
