Job Description

Job Summary

As a Technical Lead you will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of projects ensuring the successful implementation of solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products. Your expertise in Jira Shell scripting mySQL and Unix will be crucial in driving project success. The role requires a deep understanding of Cards & Payments and you will be working from the office with rotational shifts.

Responsibilities

Lead the technical design and architecture of software solutions ensuring alignment with business goals.
Oversee the development and implementation of projects utilizing Jira for project tracking and management.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Develop and maintain shell scripts to automate processes and improve system efficiency.
Manage and optimize mySQL databases to ensure data integrity and performance.
Ensure the Unix environment is stable secure and optimized for application performance.
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high coding standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues minimizing downtime and ensuring seamless operations.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Contribute to the strategic planning of technology initiatives aligning them with organizational objectives.
Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver solutions that exceed expectations.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations particularly in the Cards & Payments domain.

Qualifications

Possess strong experience in Jira demonstrating the ability to manage complex projects effectively.
Have extensive knowledge of Shell scripting with a proven track record of automating tasks.
Demonstrate proficiency in mySQL with experience in database management and optimization.
Exhibit expertise in Unix systems ensuring robust and secure environments.
Experience in the Cards & Payments domain is highly desirable providing valuable insights into industry-specific challenges.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
Excellent communication skills enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams.

Certifications Required

Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) Oracle Certified Professional MySQL Database Administrator
