Job Description

As an Instructional Designer at our company, you will play a crucial role in analyzing technical training needs and developing instructional strategies that meet both business objectives and learner goals. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing technical training content, such as e-learning modules, job aids, tutorials, simulations, and documentation to provide engaging learning experiences. - Collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs), developers, and product teams to ensure the accuracy and relevance of the training content. - Applying agile instructional design models and adult learning principles to guide the development of training materials. - Creating assessments and feedback mechanisms to assess the effectiveness of the learning experiences. - Updating training materials to align with product updates and process changes. - Working with Learning Management System (LMS) administrators to publish and track learning content effectively. Qualifications required for this role include: - A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. - At least 3 years of experience in designing technical training or instructional content. - Strong knowledge of instructional design methodologies and adult learning theory. - Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools like Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate. - Familiarity with technical domains such as software development, cloud platforms, APIs, or data analytics. - Excellent communication skills to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences. - Experience in working with Learning Management Systems (LMS). Preferred skills that would be advantageous for this role include: - Experience with tools like Git, Azure DevOps. - Familiarity with e-learning standards like SCORM, xAPI. - Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS or scripting languages. - Experience in creating content for developer audiences or technical support teams. Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position with the work location being in person.
