Role & Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the complete technical operations of the edible oil refinery, ensuring smooth, efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing processes.
• Ensure the plant is well-equipped and maintained with all necessary technical parameters for an edible oil refinery setup, including process optimization, capacity utilization, and technological upgrades.
• Plan, organize, and supervise production schedules to achieve targeted output with optimal resource utilization while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce downtime, and optimize operational costs.
• Ensure strict adherence to statutory compliance, industry standards, and quality certifications relevant to edible oil production.
• Manage and lead a diverse team of technical staff, engineers, supervisors, and operators; foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and high performance.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including procurement, quality assurance, maintenance, and supply chain to ensure seamless operations.
• Develop, train, and mentor the technical workforce to build competencies, improve productivity, and drive succession planning within the technical function.
• Liaise with senior management for strategic inputs and implementation of expansion or modernization plans for the refinery.
• Oversee administrative functions within the technical department to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (B.Tech/B.E. – Chemical) is mandatory.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA/PGDM) in any specialization is desirable.
• Proven expertise and in-depth knowledge of all technical parameters related to edible oil refinery manufacturing setup.
• Minimum 10–15 years of relevant experience in production, manufacturing, or engineering roles within the FMCG or edible oil industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong people management and administrative skills with demonstrated experience in leading large technical teams.
• Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
