Doctors For You is seeking applications for Technical Officer in its TB Projects. We are looking Technical

Officer - TB to providing oversight and direction to TB Labs Programs. The selected candidate will be

incharge of all TB Lab Services projects. The ideal candidate will work from the admin office in

Gurugram in NCR of Delhi.

Qualification, Skills Competencies

An advanced university degree (Masters or higher) in Microbiology, Pathology, Lab Medicine. At least 6-8 years of overall experience in Laboratory Medicine, including 3-4 years of relevant

experience in TB, preparing Standard operating procedures, documentation, training health care

resources at various levels.

Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills, along with strong interpersonal skills, to effectively build and manage professional relationships with technical experts and

other partners. Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications.

Ability to work independently and under pressure, manage multiple tasks concurrently, willing to travel and meet deadlines with attention to detail and quality.

Roles and Responsibilities

Providing effective leadership of the medical laboratory service, in accordance with institutional policies.

Relating and functioning effectively with NABL, regulatory agencies, appropriate administrative officials,

Training Lab technicians and other health care resources involved in upfront testing NAAT testing of Extrapulmonary TB and Paediatric TB.

Training of Specialist doctors for EPTB and paediatric TB sample extraction and appropriate transportation.

Training NTEP and partner agency staff for transportation of EPTB and paediatric specimen. Provides technical assistance for procumbent of lab items as per the need.

Ensuring that there is adequate training for the staff with the required education, training and competence to provide medical laboratory services that meet the needs and requirements of the users and the services provided.

Ensuring the monitoring of implementation of the quality policy.

Monitoring the Implementation of a safe laboratory environment in compliance with good laboratory practice and applicable requirements.

Defining, implementing and monitoring quality indicators which give the status of performance and quality improvement of the medical laboratory.

Conducts monitoring and supportive supervision visits at the hubs and spokes.

Remuneration: The compensation for the above-mentioned position/s will adhere to internal policies and

market standards, determined by qualifications, relevant experience, budget availability, internal parity, and

interview performance.

The above-mentioned position requires outstanding communication, analytical skills, documentations

skills, interpersonal, and computer skills, as well as the willingness to travel. Preference will be given to

candidates with work experience in the relevant field and local candidates who possess the necessary

experience and skill sets.
