Position Overview

Technical Documentation Manager


Key Responsibilities

  • Documentation Development:

    Create, edit, and maintain datasheets, user manuals, technical reports, project documentation, and tender write-ups.
  • Collaboration:

    Work closely with Engineering, R&D, Product, and Business Development teams to gather and interpret technical information.
  • Process Management:

    Standardize and streamline documentation processes across all projects to maintain consistency and quality.
  • Quality & Compliance:

    Ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to industry norms, internal guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lifecycle Management:

    Oversee the complete documentation lifecycle—from initial draft through review, approval, and publication.
  • Sales & Tender Support:

    Provide precise, well-structured technical inputs for tenders, proposals, and client-facing materials.
  • Continuous Improvement:

    Develop and maintain templates, style guides, and best practices to enhance readability, usability, and brand consistency.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field (Master’s is a plus).
  • Experience:

    Minimum 5 years in technical documentation or technical writing, with at least 2 years in a managerial/lead role.
  • Strong expertise in technical communication and document management systems.
  • Proven ability to create and organize technical manuals and datasheets for engineering or scientific industries.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a focus on clarity and precision.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in

    nanotechnology, metallurgy, or advanced materials

    is highly desirable.

  • Key Competencies

    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
    • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly documentation.
    • Excellent time management and project management capabilities.
    • Proficiency with documentation tools (e.g., Adobe FrameMaker, MadCap Flare, MS Office, or similar).
