Technical Designer

You will be joining our team in Kochi as a Technical Engineer. Your primary responsibility will involve preparing detailed and accurate shop drawings for bespoke furniture and high-end interior fit-out projects. This will require you to closely collaborate with our design, project, and production teams to ensure technical and visual alignment. You will review architectural and ID drawings, develop practical technical solutions, and incorporate feedback from the design team or site to make necessary updates and revisions. Additionally, you will coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to clarify technical points and maintain organized and up-to-date files. We are seeking candidates with 3 to 5 years of experience in shop drawings, preferably in furniture, joinery, or fit-out projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential, while experience with SketchUp, Revit, or other 3D tools is considered a plus. A good understanding of materials such as wood, laminates, veneers, metals, and related hardware is required. Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the capability to work effectively under pressure are also crucial. Strong communication and teamwork skills are highly valued in this role.
