We are now looking for a Furniture Draftsman to join our growing team and contribute to our legacy of excellence.

Role Overview:

The Draftsman will be responsible for preparing precise technical drawings and detailed 2D/3D models of custom furniture and joinery pieces. Working closely with our design and production teams, the draftsman will translate concepts and sketches into accurate, production-ready drawings that align with both design intent and manufacturing capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce Detailed Technical Drawings:
• Prepare accurate shop drawings for furniture using AutoCAD.
• Interpret Design Inputs:
• Translate sketches, design intent drawings, and client specifications into scaled technical drawings suitable for production.
• Collaborate with Internal Teams:
• Work closely with designers, project managers, and the factory team to ensure feasibility, accuracy, and alignment with project requirements.
• Ensure Quality & Accuracy:
• Review all drawings for dimensional accuracy, joinery details, and finish specifications before submission.
• Incorporate Feedback:
• Make timely revisions based on input from designers, production teams, or clients.
• Document & Archive Drawings:
• Maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions, and documentation for each project.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with SketchUp, Revit, or 3Ds Max is an advantage
• Strong understanding of furniture construction, joinery techniques, hardware, and material applications
• Ability to read and interpret design briefs, technical specs, and architectural drawings
• High attention to detail and excellent spatial understanding
• Minimum [5] years of experience in a similar role within the furniture or interior fit-out industry
