Technical Designer

As a Technical Engineer at our company in Kochi, your role will involve preparing detailed and accurate shop drawings for bespoke furniture and high-end interior fit-out projects. You will work closely with design, project, and production teams to ensure technical and visual alignment, review architectural drawings, develop technical solutions, coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors, and maintain organized files. Your key responsibilities will include: - Preparing detailed and accurate shop drawings based on project specifications and production guidelines - Collaborating with design, project, and production teams to ensure technical and visual alignment - Reviewing architectural and interior design drawings and proposing practical technical solutions - Making updates and revisions as required based on feedback - Coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors to clarify technical aspects - Maintaining organized and up-to-date files Qualifications required for this role: - 3 to 5 years of experience in shop drawings, preferably in furniture, joinery, or fit-out projects - Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with SketchUp, Revit, or other 3D tools is a plus - Good understanding of materials such as wood, laminates, veneers, metals, and related hardware - Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work under pressure - Strong communication and teamwork skills If you are interested in this opportunity or know someone who might be a good fit, please share this information or send your CV to rimonda@woodcouture.com.,
