Role Description

We’re Hiring: Technical Designer / Architectural Detailer

📍 Office — Industrial Area Phase 1, Chandigarh

Ornate Inc is expanding our technical design team. We specialize in premium gates, railings, staircases, and custom architectural metalwork — and we’re looking for someone who understands architecture and enjoys working closely with fabrication.

Who we’re looking for:

A technically strong designer with excellent drafting skills, architectural understanding, and the ability to visualize how products are fabricated and installed on site.

Required Qualification:

B.Arch/Diploma in Architecture (Architectural Assistantship)

What you will do:

• Create detailed AutoCAD shop drawings for gates, railings, staircases, and architectural metalwork.
• Convert concepts and site measurements into production-ready drawings.
• Coordinate drawings with our workshop and site teams.
• Understand tolerances, hardware, fixing details, and fabrication logic.

Experience:

1–3 years preferred (not looking for freshers).

Skills Required:

1. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp
2. Good understanding of architectural detailing
3. Ability to read and interpret architectural and site drawings
4. Visualization skills (2D to 3D thinking)
