Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technical Designer to join our engineering team at Coldtech Engineering Pvt. Ltd. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed 2D and 3D designs for ice cream processing and refrigeration machinery using CAD software. You will collaborate with product engineers, R&D, and production teams to ensure accuracy in mechanical drawings and support the entire product development lifecycle from concept to execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop technical drawings and 3D models for machines and mechanical parts using software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar.
• Interpret specifications and customer requirements into accurate, manufacturable designs.
• Work closely with engineering, fabrication, and production teams to ensure design feasibility.
• Modify and update existing designs to improve performance or meet new project requirements.
• Ensure designs comply with safety and quality standards.
• Maintain documentation for all design projects and revisions.
• Assist in prototyping, testing, and implementation of new equipment.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design.
• 2–4 years of experience as a mechanical or technical designer, preferably in machinery or industrial equipment.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design tools.
• Strong understanding of mechanical components, manufacturing processes, and material selection.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with sheet metal design and fabrication.
• Knowledge of P&ID, GD&T, and ISO drawing standards.
• Exposure to food machinery or refrigeration systems is a plus.
