Technical Business Analyst – EHR Systems

We are looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst with strong knowledge of Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. You will analyze our existing EHR system, understand complex workflows, and create clear documentation to support current operations and future improvements.

Responsibilities

1. System Analysis

• Analyze EHR codebase, data models, APIs, integrations, and legacy systems.
• Map clinical and business workflows (patient intake, billing, interoperability) to technical implementations.
• Identify gaps between current system functions and future needs.

1. Documentation

• Create documentation such as:
• System architecture diagrams and data flows.
• Process flows for clinical and financial operations.
• API and integration specifications.
• Reusable documentation templates.
• Validate documentation with technical and business teams.

1. Stakeholder Collaboration

• Bridge technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Simplify technical information for non-technical teams.
• Conduct workshops and reviews to ensure documentation accuracy.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Business Analyst in Healthcare IT with EHR system experience.
• Understanding of HL7, FHIR, HIPAA, and clinical workflows.
• Ability to read and understand SQL, JavaScript, database schemas, and API contracts.
• Experience with UML, BPMN diagrams, and cloud architectures (AWS).
• Proficient in Git and Jira.
