Summary:

Technical Architect – Java Backend

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture, design, and development of Java backend systems primarily using the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security).
• Define technical standards, best practices, and frameworks for backend development.
• Design microservices, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native applications.
• Collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth solution delivery.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor developers, and provide technical guidance.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance architecture and system performance.
• Ensure system scalability, maintainability

  , and security according to best practices.

Key Competencies/Skill sets

• Strong expertise in

  Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security)

• Experience in

  microservices architecture, REST APIs, and cloud deployments (AWS/Azure/GCP)

  .
• Proficiency with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
• Knowledge of

  design patterns, system design, algorithms, and data structures

  .
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and DevOps practices.
• Experience with

  messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)

  and event-driven architecture.
• Exposure to

  performance tuning, caching, and distributed systems

• Knowledge of

  API security, OAuth, and JWT

  .
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or IT Engineering, or related field.

• 7+ years of experience in Java backend development, with at least 3 years in an architecture/lead role.
