Technical Application Specialist

As a Customer Support Specialist at Abbott Diagnostics, you will play a vital role in providing superior customer service. Your key responsibilities will include: - Applying effective communication skills to build customer loyalty and proactively manage high-stress situations. - Delighting customers by providing support such as training, TOR troubleshooting, and following up on calls according to Abbott Diagnostics quality system standards. - Collaborating cross-functionally and internally to maintain positive relationships and efficiently resolve issues to exceed customer needs. - Achieving established business metrics including service sales, cost of service, and key performance indicators for assigned customers/accounts. - Utilizing remote support tools to improve instrument uptime and continuously enhancing expertise through learning and certifications. - Supporting the Commercial Team in technical queries, customer discussions, conferences, and technical seminars. In addition to the core responsibilities, you must be able to influence other areas to achieve business goals. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree or equivalent in Science (Microbiology/Biochemistry) with relevant experience, including practical experience interfacing with customers. Additional skills required include troubleshooting, problem-solving, teamwork, independent excel, computer proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, VPN, remote troubleshooting), effective communication, and strong interpersonal skills. Basic English skills are preferred (written and oral), while proficiency in the local language is required for this role.,
