Job Description

As a Project Governance and Standards Specialist, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining project management frameworks, methodologies, and best practices. Your role will involve ensuring compliance with organizational policies and governance structures while developing and maintaining templates, guidelines, and documentation for project execution. In the area of Project Tracking and Reporting, you will monitor project progress, risks, and dependencies across multiple initiatives. Generating reports and dashboards for senior management to track project performance will be a key part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will assist in portfolio reporting to ensure accurate and timely data availability. Financial and Resource Management will also be a focus of your role, where you will assist in budgeting, cost tracking, and financial forecasting for projects. Tracking resource allocation and capacity planning for project teams, as well as supporting vendor management and contract compliance for project-related services, will be essential tasks. Risk and Issue Management will require you to identify, assess, and track project risks and mitigation plans. You will facilitate issue resolution processes and ensure timely escalations when needed to mitigate potential project disruptions. In Stakeholder and Communication Management, you will support communication between project teams, senior executives, and business stakeholders. Conducting project status meetings and providing updates on key initiatives will be part of your regular responsibilities. Additionally, you will facilitate training and workshops on PMO best practices and tools to enhance project management capabilities. Your role will also involve Process Improvement and Tool Management, where you will continuously assess and improve project management processes and tools. Implementing automation and reporting tools such as Power BI, Jira, MS Project, ServiceNow, or other PM tools will be crucial. You will be expected to drive efficiency through process optimization and standardization to enhance project outcomes. This position is at Career Level - IC2, and you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful governance, tracking, reporting, financial management, risk mitigation, stakeholder communication, and process improvement of projects within the organization.,
