Tech Procurement ( Software & IT) - Manager

Role Overview: As the IT Team Leader, your primary responsibility will be managing the IT procurement team to ensure the effective acquisition of IT products and services while optimizing costs and upholding high-quality standards. This role necessitates strong leadership, negotiation skills, and a comprehensive understanding of IT infrastructure and procurement processes. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the procurement of IT products, including hardware, software, and services from various leading Global OEMs & Partners. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to comprehend their business requirements and facilitate successful closure within stipulated time frames. Engage with multiple stakeholders to optimize solution design and BOM finalization. - Negotiate contracts with major OEMs and distributors, ensuring favorable terms and conditions. - Continuously search for new sourcing opportunities to maintain a competitive advantage in the IT procurement landscape. - Ensure the quality of procured materials and services through regular assessments and audits. Qualification Required: - Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT procurement or related fields. - Strong negotiation and communication skills. - Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.). - Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions. - Excellent organizational and project management skills. - Strong leadership and team-building capabilities. - Proactive and results-oriented mindset. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Technology, Business Administration).
