Tech Lead / Architect

Job Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Tech Lead / Architect to design, build, and scale robust, secure, and high-performance systems. This role combines technical leadership, architecture ownership, and mentoring, and is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems while guiding engineering teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and own system architecture and technical roadmaps

• Lead development of scalable, secure, and maintainable platforms

• Make key decisions on technology stack, frameworks, and infrastructure

• Review code, enforce best practices, and ensure high engineering standards

• Guide and mentor engineers and lead technical discussions

• Collaborate with product and data teams on requirements and execution

• Drive performance, reliability, and scalability improvements

• Oversee cloud infrastructure, deployments, and CI/CD pipelines

• Ensure compliance with security, data, and performance standards

• Troubleshoot complex production issues and lead resolutions

Required Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of experience in software engineering

• Strong experience in system design, architecture, and scalability

• Hands-on expertise in backend development and APIs

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)

• Strong understanding of databases, caching, and distributed systems

• Proven ability to lead teams and make architecture decisions

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

• Experience working in fast-paced, product-driven environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Gaming / Esports / High-scale consumer platforms

• Knowledge of microservices, event-driven architectures

• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code

• Exposure to data pipelines or real-time systems

• Prior experience as Tech Lead, Architect, or Principal Engineer
