Tech Founding Member

MokshaPay is on a mission to become a one-stop global financial destination, starting with innovative lending, credit, and payment solutions, and evolving into a next-gen neo-bank. We are building a scalable, secure, and intelligent platform from the ground up to serve diverse customer segments across geographies.

We are looking for a founding tech leader who will define and drive the company’s technology vision, architecture, and execution from day one.

·       Own the end-to-end technology strategy—from initial architecture to scalable deployments.

·       Lead the foundational build of the MokshaPay platform, ensuring performance, security, and compliance.

·       Act as both a hands-on individual contributor and a team leader—comfortable coding when needed while guiding a small engineering team (4–5 members) to deliver.

·       Design and implement modular, API-first architectures enabling integrations with financial systems, payment gateways, credit bureaus, fraud detection services, and more.

·       Stay on top of emerging technologies—AI/ML in fintech, cloud-native infrastructures, blockchain where relevant—and incorporate them into the product roadmap.

·       Collaborate closely with product, compliance, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable tech solutions.

·       Build and mentor the engineering team, setting best practices in development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.

·       8+ years of experience building products from scratch, preferably in fintech, SaaS, or high-scale consumer tech.

·       Proven experience as a Tech Lead, Engineering Manager, or Startup Founder/CTO.

·       Strong tech architecture skills—able to design for scale, security, and modularity from day one.

·       Deep hands-on expertise in modern backend and frontend frameworks, cloud-native environments (AWS/GCP/Azure), and microservices.

·       Experience leading small engineering teams (4–5 members) and delivering high-quality products in fast-paced environments.

·       Understanding of fintech compliance & security requirements (PCI DSS, data privacy, KYC/AML).

·       A bias for action—comfortable making architectural decisions with incomplete information and iterating fast.
