Director of Technology

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership

  :
• Serve as the hands-on architect and technical leader for offshore engineering teams, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-quality product delivery.

• Client Engagement

  :
• Own end-to-end technical engagements with clients – from pre-sales consultations to delivery execution and post-deployment support.

• Team Management

  :
• Lead and mentor cross-functional engineering teams (Development, QA, DevOps, Product), comprising 20+ engineers.

• Architecture & Code Reviews

  :
• Conduct deep-dive architecture reviews, debugging sessions, and code reviews across backend, frontend, and cloud disciplines.

• Agile Delivery & Execution

  :
• Define sprint plans, manage delivery timelines, track technical KPIs, and ensure optimal team performance.

• Collaboration & Communication

  :
• Act as a bridge between offshore teams and onsite stakeholders, aligning delivery outcomes with business goals.

• Best Practices & Innovation

  :
• Drive engineering excellence through process improvements, quality standards, automation, and knowledge sharing.

• Risk & Escalation Management

  :
• Identify and mitigate technical risks, resolve escalations, and ensure consistent client satisfaction.

Required Skills & Experience

• 12–16 years

  of overall experience in technology roles with

  5+ years in offshore leadership

  .
• Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams of

  20+ engineers

  across backend, frontend, and DevOps.
• Minimum

  5 years working in an onshore-offshore model

  , with direct collaboration with onsite and client teams.

• Strong coding background

  in

  Java

  and

  TypeScript

  ; ability to guide or write production-grade code.
• Deep understanding of

  React.js

  , modern frontend architectures, and best practices.
• Experience architecting and building

  cloud-native solutions
