Job Title: Team Sales Manager Large Commercial Vehicles

Role Objective:

To lead a team of Sales Executives and drive business growth in the Large Commercial Vehicle segment through effective team management, market development, channel engagement, and customer relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Sales Management

  • Drive sales of Large Commercial Vehicles through direct and channel sales.

  • Set and monitor targets for the sales team and ensure achievement of monthly and quarterly goals.

  • Develop and implement sales strategies specific to the CV segment (tipper, tractor-trailers, haulage trucks, etc.).


Team Leadership:


  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of 5 10 Sales Officers/Executives.

  • Provide ongoing training and support to enhance performance and productivity.

  • Monitor team activities, fieldwork, and customer meetings.


Market & Channel Development:


  • Identify new business opportunities and expand customer base.

  • Build strong relationships with vehicle dealers, DSAs, transporters, fleet owners, and local influencers.

  • Gather and analyze competitor information to adjust strategies accordingly.


Customer Relationship Management:


  • Ensure high customer satisfaction through timely delivery, issue resolution, and post-sales support.

  • Maintain relationships with key clients for repeat and referral business.


Reporting & Compliance


  • Maintain MIS, daily sales reports, and dashboards for management review.

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, credit norms, and compliance standards


Key Skills & Competencies:


  • Strong understanding of the commercial vehicle market.

  • Good leadership and team management abilities.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to drive business through channel partners and direct sales.


Qualifications & Experience:


  • Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred).

  • 5 8 years of experience in sales of large commercial vehicles or related finance products.

  • Proven track record of handling teams and achieving business targets.
