Chaayos – Hiring Across Chennai Positions: Team Member / Senior Team Member / Shift Manager About The Opportunity We are hiring for multiple roles to support our growing operations in Chennai. Whether you are starting your career or already experienced in cafe/QSR/hotel operations, we have openings that match your skill level. --- Key Responsibilities ( All Roles ) Food & Beverage Preparation Prepare chai, snacks, and menu items as per Chaayos standards. Assist with cutting, mixing, marination, frying, and assembling food. Pack online orders neatly for Swiggy/Zomato. Operations & Hygiene Maintain kitchen and café cleanliness. Follow food safety, hygiene, and quality guidelines. Handle basic equipment like induction, fryer, toaster, blender, and tea brewer. Customer Service ( Cafe Locations ) Take orders at the counter when required. Serve customers with a positive attitude. Maintain clean tables and service areas. Stocks & Inventory Support daily stock checks. Ensure ingredients and packaging items are available. Report low stock or issues to the supervisor. --- Role-Level Expectations Team Member Handle daily prep, cooking, packing, and cleaning. Support the team during rush hours. Freshers can apply. Senior Team Member Guide new team members. Support stock management and checklists. Take small leadership responsibilities. Shift Manager Lead the shift, manage the team, and allocate tasks. Handle customer escalations and operational issues. Manage inventory updates and shift reports. Ensure standards are followed at all times. --- Requirements Freshers or experienced candidates welcome. Experience in cafe, QSR, restaurant, cloud kitchen, or hotel is an advantage. Good communication and discipline. Ability to work in fast-paced environments.
