Team Member - Land & Estate

Purpose/Objective

The purpose of the GIS Analyst role is to support Adani Enterprises Ltd's Land & Estate department by managing and analyzing geospatial data to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency. This includes creating and maintaining spatial databases, producing high-quality maps and dashboards, conducting geospatial analysis, and automating GIS workflows using tools like ArcGIS Enterprise and Python. The role also involves cross-functional collaboration and user training to ensure effective use of GIS technologies across the organization.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Create, edit, and maintain geospatial datasets from diverse sources including satellite imagery and field surveys • Develop and maintain spatial databases using platforms like ArcGIS Enterprise • Ensure data accuracy and integrity through topology validation and error correction techniques • Administer and manage content on ArcGIS Online, Portal for ArcGIS and ArcGIS Server • Publish and manage map services, feature services, and web maps • Design and produce high-quality static and interactive maps tailored to business and operational needs • Generate KMZ/KML files, story maps, and dashboards for web and mobile distribution • Conduct geospatial analysis including buffer creation, overlay, network analysis, and hotspot detection • Perform georeferencing of scanned maps, Toposheets and CZMP Maps • Prepare analytical reports, visual presentations, and spatial insights to support organizational objectives • Use Model Builder and Python (ArcPy) scripts to automate repetitive GIS workflows • Liaise with cross-functional teams to gather geospatial requirements and provide GIS support • Conduct user training on GIS applications, data entry protocols, and basic mapping tasks

Qualifications and Experience

Essential: Master’s degree in GIS, Geomatics, Remote Sensing or a related field, with 3 – 5 years of experience in GIS analysis, proficiency in ArcGIS Enterprise and a strong understanding of Spatial data
