Job Description

Role & responsibilities-

  • Team Leadership & Target Ownership: Lead and manage the Revenue Generation (RG) team to achieve monthly and quarterly closure targets. Drive performance through effective planning, motivation, and performance monitoring to ensure consistent achievement of business goals.
  • Driving Numbers: Take complete ownership of driving revenue numbers ensuring the team meets and exceeds closure and conversion targets. Regularly review performance metrics and take proactive actions to boost results.
  • Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize closures and optimize the conversion rate from qualified leads to successful deals.
  • Pipeline Management: Oversee the teams sales pipeline to ensure proper follow-ups, timely responses, and high quality interactions with potential customers throughout the sales cycle.
  • Coaching & Performance Development: Provide continuous guidance and training to the team on objection handling, sales communication, negotiation, and closing techniques to enhance overall productivity.
  • Collaboration with Lead Generation Team: Work closely with the Lead Generation team to ensure high-quality leads, provide feedback on lead quality, and align sales efforts for higher conversion rates.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Track, analyze, and report key performance metrics, including revenue, closures, and conversion trends. Present actionable insights to management for continuous improvement.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Ensure a customer-first approach across all interactions, fostering long-term client relationships and repeat business opportunities.
  • Market & Competitor Insights: Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and adapt strategies accordingly.

Preferred candidate profile-

  • 6+ years of experience in Inside Sales, Business Development, or Revenue Generation, with at least 2+ years in a team lead role.
  • Proven ability to drive revenue numbers and achieve or exceed monthly closure targets.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in tracking KPIs and sales performance metrics.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and data-driven sales management.
  • Experience in the EdTech or Training industry is preferred.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working under pressure.
