Team Manager Control&Protection Operation-HVDC

Role Overview: As a part of the Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC), you will be responsible for resource planning, ensuring departmental KPIs are met, and overseeing financial budgets. Your role will involve reviewing and approving techno-economic offerings, recruiting personnel, and ensuring compliance with HIATCHI ENERGY Group standards. Additionally, you will be accountable for personnel assessments, identifying development areas, and participating in strategic planning. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and allocate resources based on forecasted tenders & projects - Monitor departmental KPIs such as on-time delivery and productivity - Achieve financial budget targets - Review and approve techno-economic offerings for tenders/projects - Conduct routine reviews with project teams, cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers - Recruit personnel according to HC budget - Ensure compliance with HIATCHI ENERGY Group standards for safety and integrity - Conduct personnel assessments, set targets for direct reports, and identify development areas - Implement succession planning and develop local strategy - Drive operational development for the local organization Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering - Minimum 2 years of experience as a Line Manager/Team Leader with a team size of at least 20 members - Basic knowledge in HVDC/FACTS/Substation is preferred - Knowledge in Control & Protection design - Understanding of the end-to-end process of control & protection, including cubicle design and factory testing - Familiarity with basics of SCADA, HMI, and Cybersecurity of Substations - Proficiency in English language Note: Please be aware that qualified individuals with disabilities can request reasonable accommodations for accessing the Hitachi Energy career site by completing a general inquiry form on the website.
