We have an urgent, high-impact opportunity for a Team Leader - Telesales to join a leading matrimonial platform. This is a chance to lead a team that helps people find love and happiness, all while being a key driver of revenue. Summary Table

About the Role As a Team Leader , you will be responsible for managing a high-performing team of sales advisors who make sales calls and close deals. You'll be a product expert, providing continuous coaching and support to help your team members achieve their daily and monthly collection targets. This role requires a persuasive, hands-on leader who can thrive in a high-pressure environment and demonstrates exceptional communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership:

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 10-15 advisors, driving them to achieve daily and monthly collection targets.

Performance Management:

Conduct quality control on sales calls, provide continuous feedback, and track team progress through various reports.

Operational Excellence:

Manage daily briefings, attendance, and leave records to ensure maximum manpower utilization on the floor.

Training & Development:

Retrain advisors on product knowledge and sales techniques and provide continuous inputs on their progress.

Recruitment:

Conduct initial screenings and shortlist candidates to be hired for your team.

Reporting:

Maintain and analyze various reports related to sales, accounts, and market competition to drive strategic decisions.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 2 to 6 years of overall experience, with at least 2 years in a tele-marketing/inside sales job.

Team Handling: Proven experience managing a team of 10 to 15 people is mandatory.

Sales Acumen: Strong familiarity with effective objection handling and a number-driven, consultative selling approach.

Location: Must be willing to work from the Chennai office.

Language: Fluency in the local language is a mandatory requirement.

Education: A Bachelor's Degree is required.
