Team Leader - Logistics

As a Team Leader-Logistics in this esteemed organization, your role will involve overseeing and coordinating daily production schedules to meet customer supply requirements and ensuring timely dispatches to OEM/OES/AGR clients. Your responsibilities will include: - Ensuring compliance with delivery schedules and adherence to quality standards with packing and customer requirements. - Supervising warehouse activities such as receiving, storage, material issuance, and dispatch. - Managing pallet & rack utilization, layout optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives for reducing losses like Transit Breakage Reduction and warehouse breakage. - Identifying and implementing cost-saving initiatives in production, logistics, and material handling. - Improving child part assembly productivity and inventory management using FIFO/FEFO principles. - Coordinating with transport vendors for vehicle availability and route optimization. - Planning and managing workforce deployment for operational efficiency in all shifts. - Providing training, guidance, and supervision to shop floor employees. - Ensuring correct packaging standards based on OEM/client specifications and improving packaging efficiency and material utilization. - Implementing digital process improvements and maintaining warehouse safety and equipment skills. - Ensuring overall compliance related to EHS/ISO/IATF for the logistics center. Key Qualifications: - Minimum graduate from any stream with 13-15 years of experience in handling Logistics & warehouse operations in a Manufacturing set-up. - Strong leadership and team management abilities. - Good understanding of production processes and logistics operations. - Knowledge of SAP/ERP systems is an advantage. - Analytical skills, process improvements, communication, and problem-solving skills.
